Inhibition of their activity leads to tumor-selective cell cycle arrest in the G2/M phase triggering apoptosis. Cetek has embarked on a drug discovery program to discover novel Aurora kinase inhibitors. Cetek’s most advanced aurora kinase inhibitor series is based on CTK110, a small molecule that shows promising in vitro and initial in vivo anticancer activity. Cetek’s strategy is to advance the CTK110 series rapidly. This program is planned for an IND submission in 2007. |
