Cetek Names Robert Morgan VP and CFO Marlborough, MA, January 15, 2006 — Cetek Corporation announced today that Robert Morgan has joined Cetek as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Bob brings to Cetek more than 25 years of successful senior management and leadership experience in entrepreneurial healthcare and high technology companies, including Flagship Ventures, ChemGenics Pharmaceuticals (now Millennium Pharmaceuticals), and Enzytech (now Alkermes). "Bob has outstanding expertise in finance, raising capital, operations and human resources," said Barry Berkowitz, Ph.D., Cetek's President and CEO. "Bob will further strengthen Cetek's management team as we advance our pipeline of compounds to treat infectious diseases and cancer, and grow our drug discovery services business." Previously, Bob was Senior Vice President of Flagship Ventures and served as a founding Senior Vice President and CFO of NewcoGen Group, a venture capital/creation firm under the Flagship umbrella. Prior to Flagship, he founded or served as a senior executive in launching and building value in a number of companies, including ChemGenics Pharmaceuticals, Enzytech, Opta Food Ingredients, Clinical Partners, and America's Healthcare Manager. Bob spent the first seven years of his career in public accounting and served as a Manager in the Small Business Group of Price Waterhouse, Boston. Bob is a Certified Public Accountant and received his B.S. in Accounting from the University of Massachusetts.
